A Great Good Place of Brooklyn, Farrell's is one of those bars that feels like it has always been there and always will be. Since 1933, this Windsor Terrace institution has been serving ice-cold beer (thanks to their impeccable, low-tech "jockey box" tap system) to generations of neighborhood regulars, firefighters, cops, tradespeople, families (like Pete Hamill's clan) and anyone else lucky enough to wander through the door.

Located a stone's throw from Prospect Park, Farrell's has long been one of Brooklyn's most beloved taverns. The neighborhood around it has changed, but Farrell's remains gloriously Farrell's: a place where old friends gather, stories get told, bullshit gets tossed around like confetti, and another round always seems like a pretty good idea.
