One of the Great Good Places of New York, the Ear Inn of the West Village is one of the oldest bars in New York, in business "since 1817," as the sign says. Long known as the Green Door, the place was christened "The Ear Inn" in 1977. According tho the Ear's website, this "name was chosen to avoid the Landmark Commission’s lengthy review of any new sign. The neon BAR sign was painted to read EAR, after the musical Ear Magazine published upstairs."

Designed by artist John Tebeau, this artwork is available in four sizes:

All sizes are perfect size for a standard frame.

Prints will ship in a sturdy flat mailer free of charge in the USA.
