Save the Date: Closing Party for New Orleans Art at Two Boots Brooklyn on Sept. 12

Written by admin on August 29, 2013

Aw, now who doesn’t like a little hot jazz, cold drink and spicy shrimp? We’ll have all that at Two Boots Brooklyn (514 Second St. at Seventh Ave.) in Park Slope on Thursday September 12. That’s the closing party for my New Orleans art show, and we’d love to have you join us. Oh, and did I mention the SNO-BALLS? No?¬†Imperial Woodpecker Sno-Balls will be there. What’s an authentic New Orleans Sno-Ball?

Yumsville, daddy-o

It’s snowy (not slushy) shaved ice, doused with flavoring syrup and (if you want) condensed milk. And for a bonus you can get it “stuffed” with vanilla ice cream. It’s a frozen treat like you’ve never had before. And you might even be able to enhance it with a li’l shot of something from the bar.

So, see you at Two Boots!¬†Easy access from the 2/3 or the F/G. And the R! (Is the R even running? Who ever knows about that darn R….)

Ah, just walk. It’s not that far. And September in New York? It’s the freakin’ BEST.
